Description

Sweet meets spicy in this ooey-gooey pull-apart Christmas tree! A festive, shareable appetizer with a sticky glaze and a hint of heat.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (16.3 oz)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly coat with cooking spray.
  2. Cut each biscuit into quarters. In a bowl, mix melted butter, brown sugar, honey, red pepper flakes, and cinnamon.
  3. Toss biscuit pieces in the butter-sugar mixture until evenly coated.
  4. Arrange coated biscuit pieces on the baking sheet in the shape of a Christmas tree: a single piece at the top, then rows increasing in width downward.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Remove from oven, sprinkle with Parmesan and parsley while warm. Serve immediately.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
