Description

Bitter, sweet, spicy, and creamy in perfect harmony. Golden caramelized endive meets fluffy whipped burrata for a bold flavor experience.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 4 heads endive, halved lengthwise
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 8 oz burrata cheese
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange endive halves cut-side up on a baking sheet.
  2. Drizzle endive with honey, olive oil, then sprinkle with red pepper flakes and salt. Roast for 25 minutes until caramelized.
  3. While endive roasts, whip burrata with heavy cream and lemon juice until light and fluffy. Season with black pepper.
  4. Spread whipped burrata on serving plates and top with caramelized endive. Drizzle with any remaining pan juices.
