For the Crust:
- 8 oz block of feta cheese
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup shelled pistachios, roughly chopped
- 1/4 cup pomegranate seeds
- 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a small baking dish with parchment paper.
- Place the feta block in the center of the dish. Drizzle with honey and olive oil, then sprinkle with red pepper flakes and black pepper.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until the feta is soft and slightly caramelized on top.
- Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes. Top with pistachios, pomegranate seeds, and fresh thyme.
- Serve warm with crusty bread or crackers.
