Golden, salty halloumi cheese meets a sweet-heat crunch with a pistachio-chili crumble.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 8 oz halloumi cheese, sliced into 1/2-inch pieces
  • 1/4 cup shelled pistachios, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp chili flakes
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add halloumi slices and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. In a small bowl, mix pistachios, honey, chili flakes, smoked paprika, and lemon juice to form the crumble.
  4. Sprinkle the pistachio-chili crumble over the cooked halloumi.
  5. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and serve immediately.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
