For the Crust:
- 8 oz halloumi cheese, sliced into 1/2-inch pieces
- 1/4 cup shelled pistachios, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp chili flakes
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Add halloumi slices and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In a small bowl, mix pistachios, honey, chili flakes, smoked paprika, and lemon juice to form the crumble.
- Sprinkle the pistachio-chili crumble over the cooked halloumi.
- Garnish with fresh mint leaves and serve immediately.
