Description

A fluffy focaccia bread with a gooey cheese center, perfect for sharing with friends and family.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 500g strong white bread flour
  • 7g dried yeast
  • 10g salt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 300ml warm water
  • 200g mozzarella cheese, cubed
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • 1 tsp sea salt flakes

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Mix flour, yeast, and salt in a large bowl. Add olive oil and warm water, then knead for 10 minutes until smooth.
  2. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  3. Preheat oven to 220°C (200°C fan). Punch down the dough and fold in the mozzarella cubes. Shape into a round loaf and place on a baking tray.
  4. Dimple the top with your fingers, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with rosemary and sea salt. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
