For the Crust:
- 1 cup crushed chocolate cookie crumbs
- 1/2 cup melted unsalted butter
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Mix cookie crumbs with melted butter until combined. Press firmly into the bottom of the pan to form the crust.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips and chopped pecans evenly over the crust.
- In a bowl, whisk together caramel sauce, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and sea salt. Pour over the chocolate and nut layer.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the edges are golden and the center is set. Cool completely before slicing into bars.
