A festive and savory ring made with flaky crescent dough, seasoned ground turkey, and tangy cranberry sauce, perfect for holiday gatherings or weeknight dinners.

For the Crust:
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent rolls
- 1/2 cup whole berry cranberry sauce
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 tsp dried sage
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground turkey with onion, sage, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until turkey is browned and cooked through. Drain any excess liquid.
- Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles. Arrange triangles in a circle on the baking sheet with wide ends overlapping in the center and points facing outward.
- Spread cooked turkey mixture over the wide ends of the dough, then top with cranberry sauce and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
- Fold the pointed ends of the dough over the filling and tuck under the center to form a ring. Brush the top with beaten egg.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the crescent ring is golden brown. Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
