For the Crust:

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 lb frozen french fries
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tbsp hot sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and bake fries according to package instructions until golden and crispy.
  2. In a bowl, coat chicken pieces with Cajun seasoning, then dredge in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and fry chicken bites for 4-5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
  4. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, sour cream, hot sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to create the creamy dipping sauce.
  5. Serve hot chicken bites alongside crispy fries with the dipping sauce on the side.

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
