For the Crust:

  • 1 (8 oz) wheel of brie cheese
  • 1/4 cup dried figs, chopped
  • 1/4 cup pecans, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 sheet puff pastry (optional, for wrapping)
  • Crackers or sliced baguette for serving

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place the brie wheel in a small baking dish or on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  3. Top the brie evenly with chopped figs and pecans, then drizzle with honey and sprinkle with thyme.
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the brie is soft and gooey.
  5. Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving warm with crackers or baguette slices.
