For the Crust:
- 1 French baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
- 8 oz brie cheese, rind removed and cut into small pieces
- 1/2 cup cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)
- 3 tbsp hot honey (or regular honey mixed with 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet, brush lightly with olive oil, and toast for 5-7 minutes until golden and crisp.
- Top each toasted baguette slice with a piece of brie and a small spoonful of cranberry sauce.
- Return to the oven and bake for 8-10 minutes, until the brie is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from oven, drizzle generously with hot honey, and sprinkle with fresh thyme, salt, and pepper. Serve warm.
