Description

A festive and shareable appetizer featuring creamy brie, tangy cranberry sauce, and crispy baguette slices, all topped with a spicy-sweet hot honey drizzle.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:

  • 1 French baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
  • 8 oz brie cheese, rind removed and cut into small pieces
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • 3 tbsp hot honey (or regular honey mixed with 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet, brush lightly with olive oil, and toast for 5-7 minutes until golden and crisp.
  2. Top each toasted baguette slice with a piece of brie and a small spoonful of cranberry sauce.
  3. Return to the oven and bake for 8-10 minutes, until the brie is melted and bubbly.
  4. Remove from oven, drizzle generously with hot honey, and sprinkle with fresh thyme, salt, and pepper. Serve warm.
