Description

This watermelon sandwich recipe layers pickles, Havarti cheese, basil, hot honey, and balsamic glaze between two chilled watermelon slices. A refreshing, no-cook option perfect for summer picnics or poolside snacks.

Ingredients

Scale

2 slices watermelon, sliced like toast bread

3 slices pickles

1 slice Havarti cheese

1 drizzle hot honey

1 drizzle balsamic glaze

3 leaves basil

Instructions

1. Cut two thin squares out of a watermelon to resemble slices of bread.

2. Place pickles on one watermelon slice.

3. Add cheese on top of the pickles.

4. Drizzle hot honey and balsamic glaze over the cheese.

5. Add fresh basil leaves.

6. Top with the second watermelon slice and serve immediately.

Notes

Use firm watermelon for better structure.

Wrap in parchment if packing for later.

Keep chilled until serving.
