Description

A creamy, tangy whipped ricotta base topped with spicy hot honey, juicy pomegranate seeds, and crunchy toasted almonds for a perfect balance of flavors and textures.

For the Crust:

  • 16 oz whole milk ricotta cheese
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup hot honey
  • 1/4 cup pomegranate seeds
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds, toasted
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Fresh thyme leaves for garnish

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a food processor or mixing bowl, combine ricotta, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Whip until smooth and creamy, about 2-3 minutes.
  2. Spread the whipped ricotta evenly onto a serving plate or shallow bowl.
  3. Drizzle the hot honey generously over the ricotta.
  4. Sprinkle pomegranate seeds and toasted almonds on top.
  5. Garnish with fresh thyme leaves and serve immediately with crusty bread or crackers.
