Description

A creamy, smoky, and spicy appetizer featuring whipped smoked Gouda cheese topped with chili crisp, served on toasted bread.

For the Crust:

  • 8 oz smoked Gouda cheese, shredded
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons chili crisp
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
  • 1 baguette, sliced and toasted
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a food processor, combine shredded smoked Gouda, softened cream cheese, and heavy cream. Blend until smooth and whipped.
  2. Season the mixture with salt and black pepper to taste, then pulse to combine.
  3. Spread the whipped Gouda mixture onto toasted baguette slices. Top each with a drizzle of chili crisp and a sprinkle of fresh chives. Serve immediately.
