For the Crust:

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup shredded white cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 4 burger buns
  • Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, mayo

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, spinach, white cheddar, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
  2. Form the mixture into 4 equal patties, about 1/2-inch thick.
  3. Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook patties for 5-7 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F).
  4. Toast burger buns if desired. Serve patties on buns with optional toppings.
