For the Crust:

  • 4 firm but ripe pears, halved and cored
  • 4 ounces feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 3 tablespoons honey, plus more for drizzling
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Place pear halves cut side up in the prepared dish.
  3. In a small bowl, mix feta, cranberries, and cinnamon.
  4. Spoon the feta mixture into the hollow center of each pear half.
  5. Drizzle honey over the pears and top with walnuts if using.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until pears are tender and cheese is slightly golden.
  7. Serve warm with an extra drizzle of honey.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste. For a dairy-free version, substitute feta with vegan feta or leave it out and add more cranberries.
