For the Crust:
- 4 firm but ripe pears, halved and cored
- 4 ounces feta cheese, crumbled
- 1/4 cup dried cranberries
- 3 tablespoons honey, plus more for drizzling
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking dish with parchment paper.
- Place pear halves cut side up in the prepared dish.
- In a small bowl, mix feta, cranberries, and cinnamon.
- Spoon the feta mixture into the hollow center of each pear half.
- Drizzle honey over the pears and top with walnuts if using.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until pears are tender and cheese is slightly golden.
- Serve warm with an extra drizzle of honey.
Notes
You can customize the seasonings to taste. For a dairy-free version, substitute feta with vegan feta or leave it out and add more cranberries.
