For the Crust:
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, browned and cooled
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 2 tablespoons honey
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
- Brown the butter in a saucepan over medium heat until nutty and golden. Let cool.
- In a bowl, mix mashed bananas, cooled brown butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla.
- Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl. Fold into wet ingredients until just combined.
- Pour batter into prepared pan. Drizzle tahini and honey over top, then swirl with a knife.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool before slicing.
