Description

A delightful side dish where tender bok choy is caramelized with garlic, topped with crumbled feta, toasted walnuts, and a spicy-sweet hot honey drizzle.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:

  • 4 baby bok choy, halved lengthwise
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup toasted walnuts, roughly chopped
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (or to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic slices and cook until fragrant and lightly golden, about 30 seconds.
  2. Place bok choy halves cut side down in the skillet. Sear for 2-3 minutes until caramelized. Flip and cook another 2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, red pepper flakes, and apple cider vinegar to make the hot honey drizzle.
  4. Transfer bok choy to a serving platter. Sprinkle with crumbled feta and toasted walnuts. Drizzle hot honey mixture over the top.
  5. Serve immediately.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
