For the Crust:
- 8 oz spaghetti
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed
- 8 oz cremini mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Cook spaghetti according to package directions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Remove chicken and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add onion and garlic, sauté until fragrant, about 2 minutes. Add mushrooms and thyme, cook until mushrooms are tender and browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Reduce heat to medium-low, pour in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, stirring until cheese melts and sauce thickens slightly, about 3-4 minutes.
- Return chicken to the skillet, add cooked spaghetti, and toss everything together until well coated and heated through. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
