A quick and elegant dish featuring succulent shrimp in a rich garlic cream sauce served over fragrant herbed rice.

For the Crust:
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 cups cooked white rice
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 lemon, juiced
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter over medium-high heat. Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink. Remove shrimp and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add remaining butter and garlic. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Simmer for 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese, thyme, and lemon juice. Return shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Cook for another 2 minutes until heated through. Serve over herbed rice, garnished with fresh parsley.
