A perfect balance of savory, sweet, and spicy, this flatbread combines creamy brie, tart dried cranberries, crunchy toasted walnuts, and a kick of hot honey on a crispy base.

For the Crust:

  • 1 pre-made flatbread or naan (about 810 inches)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 ounces brie cheese, sliced
  • 1/3 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/3 cup walnuts, roughly chopped
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (or to taste)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh thyme or rosemary for garnish (optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Place the flatbread on the baking sheet and brush evenly with olive oil.
  3. Arrange the brie slices evenly over the flatbread.
  4. Sprinkle the dried cranberries and chopped walnuts over the brie.
  5. Season with a pinch of salt and black pepper.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the flatbread is crispy and the brie is melted and bubbling.
  7. While the flatbread bakes, make the hot honey drizzle: In a small bowl, mix the honey with red pepper flakes.
  8. Remove flatbread from oven, drizzle with the hot honey, and garnish with fresh thyme or rosemary if desired.
  9. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste. For extra heat, add more red pepper flakes or a drizzle of sriracha. For a milder version, omit the pepper flakes.
