For the Crust:
- 1 pre-made flatbread or pizza dough
- 4 fresh figs, sliced
- 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped and toasted
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Place flatbread on a baking sheet and brush with olive oil.
- Bake for 5-7 minutes until lightly golden.
- Remove from oven and spread ricotta evenly over the flatbread.
- Arrange sliced figs on top and sprinkle with toasted walnuts and rosemary.
- Drizzle with honey and season with salt and pepper.
- Return to oven and bake for an additional 8-10 minutes until edges are crispy.
- Slice and serve warm.
