Description

A quick and flavorful stir-fry featuring tender chicken in a spicy garlic-chili sauce, paired with crisp vegetables and served over steamed rice.

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chili garlic sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a bowl, combine chicken with soy sauce and chili garlic sauce; marinate for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add garlic and stir for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add marinated chicken and cook for 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove chicken and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add bell pepper, broccoli, and carrot. Stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
  5. Return chicken to skillet, add green onions and sesame oil, and toss everything together. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Serve hot over cooked white rice.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
