For the Crust:
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 tsp ground turmeric (for golden color)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken slices and cook until golden and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Remove chicken and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and stir in ground turmeric, bringing to a gentle simmer.
- Reduce heat to low and whisk in Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper.
- Add the cooked pasta and chicken back to the skillet, tossing to coat evenly in the sauce. Cook for 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.
