Description

A fresh and flavorful wrap featuring marinated grilled chicken, crisp vegetables, and a creamy whipped garlic yogurt sauce, all wrapped in warm pita bread.

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 4 large pita bread rounds
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a bowl, combine chicken, olive oil, lemon juice, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Grill or pan-sear chicken over medium-high heat for 5-7 minutes per side until cooked through. Let rest, then slice.
  3. In a separate bowl, whip Greek yogurt with minced garlic and dill until smooth. Season with salt to taste.
  4. Warm pita bread in a skillet or microwave for 30 seconds.
  5. Assemble wraps: spread yogurt sauce on pita, top with chicken, cucumber, tomatoes, red onion, and feta cheese.
  6. Fold pita into wraps and serve immediately.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
