For the Crust:
- 2 ripe Bartlett pears, thinly sliced
- 8 oz fresh burrata cheese
- 1/4 cup shelled pistachios, roughly chopped
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves, plus sprigs for garnish
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, fresh thyme leaves, and a pinch of salt. Set aside.
- Gently pat the burrata dry with a paper towel. Place one ball of burrata on a serving plate.
- Arrange a single layer of pear slices around and on top of the burrata, stacking slightly.
- Drizzle the honey-thyme mixture over the pears and burrata.
- Sprinkle with chopped pistachios and garnish with fresh thyme sprigs. Season with a pinch of pepper if desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
You can customize the seasonings to taste. For a touch of heat, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
