A delightful combination of creamy hummus and flavorful homemade meatballs served in a Mediterranean-style bowl.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 1 can chickpeas, drained
  • 2 tbsp tahini
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 lb ground lamb or beef
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Cucumber, diced
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a blender or food processor, combine chickpeas, tahini, garlic, and a pinch of salt. Blend until smooth and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix ground lamb or beef with cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Form into small meatballs.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook meatballs until browned and cooked through, about 10-12 minutes.
  4. To assemble, spread hummus at the bottom of a bowl, top with meatballs, and garnish with cherry tomatoes, cucumber, and parsley.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
