For the Crust:
- 1 (9-inch) chocolate or graham cracker crust
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 (4-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup milk
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a large bowl, beat heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form; set aside.
- In another bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until well combined.
- Stir in shredded coconut and pecans.
- Pour the filling into the prepared crust and spread evenly.
- In a small saucepan, combine chocolate chips, butter, and milk over low heat. Stir until melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Pour the chocolate mixture over the pie filling and spread gently.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set.
- Slice and serve chilled.
Notes
You can customize the seasonings to taste. For extra richness, top with additional whipped cream and toasted coconut before serving.
