Description
Tender roasted Brussels sprouts tossed in a sweet and tangy balsamic maple glaze, finished with crispy bacon and toasted pecans for a flavorful side dish.

For the Crust:
- 1.5 lbs Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 4 slices bacon, chopped
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup pecans, roughly chopped
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread in a single layer on the baking sheet. Roast for 20-25 minutes until tender and lightly browned.
- While sprouts roast, cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove bacon and set aside, leaving 1 tbsp bacon fat in the skillet.
- Add garlic to the skillet and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant. Stir in balsamic vinegar and maple syrup. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Toss roasted Brussels sprouts with the glaze, bacon, and pecans. Serve warm.
