Description

A refreshing and elegant summer appetizer combining sweet watermelon, creamy burrata, fragrant basil, crunchy pistachios, and a drizzle of spicy hot honey.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 1 small seedless watermelon, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 8 oz fresh burrata cheese, torn into pieces
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, torn
  • 1/4 cup shelled pistachios, roughly chopped
  • 3 tbsp hot honey (or regular honey mixed with a pinch of red pepper flakes)
  • Flaky sea salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Arrange watermelon cubes on a serving platter.
  2. Top each cube with a piece of burrata.
  3. Scatter torn basil leaves over the top.
  4. Sprinkle chopped pistachios evenly.
  5. Drizzle hot honey over everything.
  6. Season with flaky sea salt and black pepper. Serve immediately.

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
