A rich and creamy cheesecake with layers of banana, gooey caramel, and crunchy nuts, baked to perfection.

For the Crust:
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C). In a medium bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until combined. Press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla and mashed bananas.
- Pour half of the cream cheese mixture over the crust. Drizzle with half of the caramel sauce and sprinkle with half of the nuts. Pour remaining cream cheese mixture on top.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until center is almost set. Run a knife around the edge to loosen; cool on a wire rack. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
- Before serving, drizzle remaining caramel sauce and sprinkle remaining nuts on top.
