A sweet, spicy, and creamy appetizer that combines juicy strawberries, rich burrata, and a drizzle of hot honey and balsamic glaze. Perfect for summer gatherings or a quick, elegant bite.

For the Crust:

  • 12 large fresh strawberries, hulled
  • 8 oz fresh burrata cheese, drained and cut into 12 pieces
  • 1/4 cup hot honey
  • 1/4 cup balsamic glaze
  • 12 small bamboo skewers or toothpicks
  • Flaky sea salt, for garnish
  • Fresh basil leaves (optional), for garnish

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Thread one piece of burrata onto a skewer, followed by one strawberry, and then another piece of burrata. Repeat to make 6 skewers.
  2. Arrange the skewers on a serving platter.
  3. Drizzle hot honey evenly over the skewers.
  4. Drizzle balsamic glaze over the skewers.
  5. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt and garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired.
  6. Serve immediately at room temperature.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste. For a milder version, use regular honey instead of hot honey. Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less balsamic glaze.
