For the Crust:
- 12 large fresh strawberries, hulled
- 8 oz fresh burrata cheese, drained and cut into 12 pieces
- 1/4 cup hot honey
- 1/4 cup balsamic glaze
- 12 small bamboo skewers or toothpicks
- Flaky sea salt, for garnish
- Fresh basil leaves (optional), for garnish
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Thread one piece of burrata onto a skewer, followed by one strawberry, and then another piece of burrata. Repeat to make 6 skewers.
- Arrange the skewers on a serving platter.
- Drizzle hot honey evenly over the skewers.
- Drizzle balsamic glaze over the skewers.
- Sprinkle with flaky sea salt and garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired.
- Serve immediately at room temperature.
Notes
You can customize the seasonings to taste. For a milder version, use regular honey instead of hot honey. Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less balsamic glaze.
